We are HOPING that the weather here in Georgia will cool down since we are halfway into August already. If you are not ready to let summer go, we have the perfect place for you. This bar on top of Moxy ATL & AC Hotel serves up drinks and food that will make you feel like you are at a tropical location.

High Note Roof Top Bar in ATL connects two of the nicest hotels in the city. It is a laid-back but upscale location so you get the best of both worlds. Grab a group of friends and you will have yourselves a day full of picture taking and drinking.

This location will take you to paradise with the tropical food and drinks they serve. The drinks are to die for and are too cute not to put in your story. They also have a full menu of unique food items and Sunday brunch that is a culinary masterpiece.

Aside from the cute seating and fun games, there are food and cocktails that are too cute not to order. You can get cocktails inside of a coconut, purple and pink drinks, as well as a unicorn drink. "The Last Unicorn" is made with Ketel One Grapefruit & Rose, lavender, butterfly pea powder and Prosecco to make one pretty drink.

If you are feeling very bougie that day, you need to order the drink in the coconut called "TKO." It is a tiki-rum type of drink over ice inside of the coconut, and to top it off, a bottle of Underberg (a bitter from Germany) is stuck upside down in the ice.

Some of the menu items that you will want to order are the Pimento Grilled Cheese, Kimchi Dog, Tuna Poke and Crispy Catfish Taco. You and your friends will have yourselves a fun day if you decide to spend it here.

8 Atlanta-Area Rooftops to Enjoy Outdoor Drinks & Dining

Heat rises, but it’s always cooler on the top. As warm springtime weather returns, turn it up a notch by hitting the great outdoors on a roof. New places are on the scene and well-loved spots have emerged from hibernation for a new round of alfresco drinking and dining. We searched high and low (mostly high) for the best rooftop bars to enjoy a cocktail and take in brilliant vistas.

Why be perched above one hotel when you can straddle two? The new High Note is positioned between AC Hotel and Moxy Midtown six floors up with city views. There is an energy here of both rooftop refinery and coziness. The surroundings are chic and modern — shades of gray, a rectangular bar at the center and dangling light bulbs overhead. The menu is chock-full of comfort food like pimento grilled cheese, Korean-style chicken wings, tuna poke with chips and guacamole (although they call it “smashed avocado” for fanciness). A light and bright WCW made with vodka, cantaloupe shrub, lemon and mint is topped with sparkling Topo Chico and a floral garnish.
